Introduction
BUPA Hospital Hastings offers high quality private hospital services in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients from East Sussex and surrounding areas.

Operations performed at BUPA Hospital Hastings include hernia repair, gall bladder removal, prostate surgery, hysterectomy, vaginal repair and cataract removal. BUPA Hospital Hastings also offers specialist upper and lower limb and spinal procedures, joint revision, discectomy and spinal fusion.

Some of the surgeons are experts in specialist orthopaedic techniques, such as Birmingham hip resurfacing and corrective hip procedures, as well as traditional hip replacement and knee replacement. BUPA Hospital Hastings has a breast clinic for rapid diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, including mastectomy.

Patients have access to specialist diagnostic facilities, surgeons, radiologists and breast care nurses. Our teams are able to treat skin cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. We also provide bowel cancer screening. Our physiotherapy department provides fast and effective clinical diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. Other services include biomechanics and specialised sports medicine. Our radiology department offers a comprehensive X-ray and ultrasound service as well as having access to MRI scan, CT scan and mammography investigations. Other services include dermatology, rheumatology and sleep disorder diagnosis.

Our services are available to everyone - whether or not you are insured by BUPA. We work with all major private medical insurers and our Inclusive Care  scheme for patients who are paying for their own treatment provides a guaranteed, fixed price, confirmed in advance.

Plasterboard plant
Originally built in 1876 for the manufacture of plaster, the Robertsbridge plant converted to plasterboard manufacture during the 1970’s, when a new mill and board line were constructed.
