Can you dance Flamenco or would you like
to learn? Any enthusiastic people, improvers and competent beginners, are welcome to do a workshop to be arranged at Battle Memorial Hall with London based teacher, Juani, which would lead to regular two hour classes
depending on demand. This form of dance is highly energetic, accompanied by exciting, inspiring music and is suitable for most age groups, female and male.

Our storyteller is on the run from those three-headed monsters, trying to bring you the most fantastic tales from the Magic Lane of Three.
Are you really sure what happened to the wolf and those three little pigs? What about Goldilocks? Why was she walking in those woods? And as for the three Billy Goats Gruff, how did they really deal with that troll?

COMING UP FOR SPRING 2009
SHIYANI NGCOBO
Shiyani performs ‘maskanda’ (maskandi),
a musical dance style dominated by lush acoustic guitar ‘picking’ and distinctive rhythms, born of the Zulu experience of labour migrancy.
Shiyani performance reflects layers of history, the fierce distinctive rhythmsand praise poetry of Zulu warriers, as well as the lyrical laments of migrant workers forced to leave their homes to find work during colonial times. His use of a mixture of rhythmic patterns associated with its different styles has earned him a reputation in South Africa as a maskanda maestro.
The best of these pickers are rarely heard beyond South Africa’s Zulu enclaves.
Shiyani will be accompanied by various musicians on his UK tour
